Short description of your place and practices
Located in the mountain slops of Rwabatungu Village, Noozi PArish, Rwamucucu subcounty, Rukiga district, South Western Uganda.
We do mixed farming, well designed to take care of agroecology principles and elements. We make our own organic manures such as compost, bio slurry majorly waste from the animals and poultry. We also make biochar and bokashi and liquid organic fertilizers.
Our key effort is on soil fertility and water management the fact that, our location stands in the heavy water runoff from the hills.
We also host the indigenous community seed bank where we save and withdraw our indigenous seed for the community and our farm seasonally. We are also managing Participatory Guarantee System for key selected crops/enterprises.
