Short description of your place and practices
BTLLAgroforestry has restored the soil and water qualities by ending the use of agrochemicals, planting fruit trees and woody trees, changing agricultural practices to organic farming. The microclimate and evapotranspiration around the mini-forest of woody trees now accommodate vegetable plantations with low maintenance.
BTLLAgroforestry also acts as a mediator for agri-food research translation on the BCG economy at the farm level for its mission as a local social coordinator. We have extended our mission to social inclusion within the village and local schools, emphasizing the food-health-ecology-society nexus since early 2022.
BTLLAgroforestry is collaborating with the network of food scientists coordinated by the FoodInnovate in Bangkok to connect with urban communities as potential buyers.

What is your dream for the future of your farm and/or your location in general?
BTLLAgroforestry wishes to be a learning center for agroecology in sustainable food systems. We are also collaborating with the FoodInnovate, a non-profit organisation in Bangkok focusing on urban-rural co-production for sustainable food systems through agroecology.
