The Gastro Tourism Academy, part of the Gastro Forestry Project in Tasikmalaya, aims to enhance agroforestry and forest food systems by integrating local culinary traditions with sustainable forest management. The academy will offer training in cultivating and utilizing forest foods, promoting eco-friendly practices, and developing agroforestry-based tourism. By bridging agriculture, forestry, and gastronomy, it seeks to boost local economies, preserve biodiversity, and foster a deeper appreciation for Tasikmalaya’s rich natural resources.
