our organization is active in the southern part of Tuscany, a region of the central Italy. In the past this was a marshy area, where agricolture meant wild breeding and wheat. Today it still is the area in the region where the main activity is agricolture. We are mainly working promoting the cultivation of wheats and legumes, implementing partecipatory network, sustaining PGS too.

CCIBO is an organization whose members promote and enhance agro-ecological productions through a local network of custodian farmers, processors, research centers and schools. The main goal of this network is to raise awareness of the extensive biodiversity of the Maremma area, the culture and the territory that hosts it and to defend fair and sustainable food.
