Caren Ombedo

I practice crop farming, vegetable farming, livestock farming and tree nursery operation. My area experiences short rains so sometimes it gets so dry therefore I mainly practice farming in small scale.
I use my skills in kitchen garden farming to practice vegetable farming for income and to be food secure especially during dry seasons.
I also operate a mini tree nursery with variety of tree seedlings for commercial purpose and I plant some too on my farm.
I share my skills and knowledge with other community members and members of my group too.

I practice farming for both home consumption and commercial purpose because it is my main source of income.

To expand my farming activities for increased income and food security.
