Short description of your place and practices

We are from Kenya, Homabay County, Nyamaji East Sub-Location. We are an all Women Group of 15 members and we practice farming to boost our income and for food security. We have gained a lot of positive changes as a group and at individual through our collective farming practice.
Besides sweet potatoes farming, we also practice vegetable farming (kales and indigenous vegetables),and poultry keeping as a group.
The farms where we practice the farming are volunteered by members of the group. We share responsibilities of farm activities and share the farm proceeds too.
We sell our farm produce locally and sometimes we access outside markets too.
We practice Group Savings Loaning too.
