Short description of your place and practices
We are The Association for Farmers Rights Defense, AFRD which was established in 1999, as a non-profit, democratic organization dedicated to the Advocacy of Farmer's Rights and interests and needs by developing agricultural projects, Extension and Rural Advisory Services to growth and policy reform in the Georgia’s transitional economy. With the help of ACDI-VOCA, the American National Farm Bureau and local farmers and farmer organizations in Georgia have started the testing of different fodder plants for our Livestock Farmers – Sorghum, Sudan grass, Amaranth, Alfa-Alfa and other plants by strengthening Agro Pastoral, Mountain Pastoral Movements development in Georgia.
