vegetable growing

Implementing the practice

Starting from old pasture, we placed a double layer of old carton cardboard on top of the turf, constructed boxes (without base) about 2.5m long, 80cm wide and 40cm tall and filled them with compost and manure. Used for intensive vegetable production ( carrots, parsnips, beetroot, asparagus, lettuce, zucini, .... anything!)

Why you use and what you expect from this practice?

Better production, easier weed control, more resilience to dry weather
