John Ogalo

The farm is located in Ruri east sublocation. The main economic activity in the area is agriculture; farming of cereals with other farmers engaging in cotton and sunflower farming as the main cash crops grown in the area. Livestock farming is also a major activity as the place has a lot of animals feeds.

I practice cereal farming (sorghum and maize). I also practice farmer managed natural regeneration (FMNR) and tree planting on my farm. I keep livestock(cows) for milk production and compost manure. record keeping is done for every activity in my farm

Advocating for environmental conservation through planting of trees and use of organic materials that improves crops production and soil health. major on milk production by ensuring my animals health is well managed and maintained. Increase sorghum production by expanding my farm and focusing on the good agricultural practices that reduces input and increases the production capacity.
