Mise en œuvre de la pratique

I only apply organic measures in controlling pests and maintainig soil fertility. For instance, I use ash as a pesticide. I also apply livestock (poultry) wastes as manure and practice mulching to improve on soil fertility on the garden.

This practice enables me to acces healthy foods for my household and sell to the community healthy vegetables too.

The production costs are low.

There is ready market, hence it generates income well. I get consumers who come to the farm and others I meet at the market centre.
