Elli's Garden

We grow different crops in different arrangements in our family garden. We grow tomatoes on a small patch that is covered with a grid foil roof, as well as a mixture of salads, kales, fennel, cabbages, zucchini, other vegetables in wooden raised beds. We have several fruit trees and bushes (apples, cherries, different berries) spread across the garden. We have plenty of different herbs grown on the garden boundaries as well. We also grow pumpkins on a patch of poorer soil.

A completely integrated system that produces additional local and seasonal crops. And, after many years of somewhat neglecting this art and craft handed down from generation to generation in our family, we want to focus on preserving more of our own produce for the colder months through traditional vegetable and fruit preservation methods. We also hope to continue inspiring our younger generations to learn about natural farming practices, and provide them with space for experimentation for new ideas and practices.
