Implementando a prática
By farming different crops and keeping livestock, I use crop and animal wastes as manure to improve the soil fertility on my farm.
I practice intercropping with main crops and cover crops that help reduce on surface run offs on the farm.
I locally produce and preserve seeds on my farm that I use later on the next season of planting.
After harvesting the crops, I collect some of the stalks and residues and store them as livestock feeds.
